AirMedic+ Series

Advanced Air Filtration, Superior Particle Control

Simply put, the AirMedic+ series provides the most effective air purification technology available. The air purifiers in this series feature variable speed control, a sealed motor, sure-seal gaskets and 360-degree air intake to provide superior particle control, plus 18-25 pounds of activated carbon for adsorption of airborne chemicals, gases and odors.

The advanced design of the AirMedic+ series passes DOP testing, making these models trusted solutions for hospitals, clean rooms and laboratories, which demand the very best in air purification. Round out this series with the UV light option to add protection against viruses, mold and bacteria.

For the asthma and allergy sufferer, or for the very best air purification system, the AirMedic+ series is the definitive solution.

Activated Carbon / Charcoal Blend

Exec Blend: Our Exec carbon is our general-purpose blend, ideal for trapping a wide range of airborne chemicals, gases and odors.

Vocarb Blend: Our Vocarb carbon is our boosted blend, offering a more aggressive removal of hard-to-trap airborne chemicals, gases and odors. This blend is best suited for newly renovated environments, unknown contaminants and/or formaldehyde.

Custom Blend: Have an unusual IAQ problem? Let us customize the perfect carbon blend solution!

Filter Depth (Activated Carbon / Charcoal Bed)

A unit’s filter depth is key to its adsorption capacity. Customize your unit with a 2” (regular) or 3” (deep or “D”) carbon bed filter to maximize
its chemical-adsorption efficiency.

Optional Features

Negative - Positive Air: 6" exhaust (clean air side) duct for negative, positive air.

UV Light: for that extra measure of protection

Voltage: available in 110V and 220V

Colors: available in Black, White, Sandstone

About Our Activated Carbon + HEPA Filtration SystemPhotocopiers Printers Print Room Air Purifier Air Filtration System

Activated carbon is widely recognized as the safest, most effective way to treat odors and chemicals, while HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Air) filters are the gold standard for removing particles. Together they provide the most complete and versatile air cleaning system available.

About "Activated" Carbon

activated charcoal, activated carbon filter, chemical fumes, odor, gases, smoke, formaldehydeCarbon that is 'activated' undergoes a process that opens up millions of tiny pores and fissures to enhance the material's adsorbent properties. The process creates a very large internal surface area, which is key to the power of activated carbon - the more surface area - the more the carbon can adsorb. Only one pound of activated carbon typically has a surface area of 125 acres. Activated carbon is so effective that it's used in military gas masks.

can remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns in diameterAbout HEPA Filters

HEPA stands for high efficiency particulate air filter and describes a filter that can remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns in diameter. Particles of this size are used to evaluate the performance of a filter because they are among the most difficult to remove. However, particles that are larger or smaller than 0.3 microns can be filtered with even greater efficiency due to the nature of the filter’s design. True HEPA filters are composed of a dense web of fibers designed to trap particles. This type of filter was first used in the 1940’s to trap radioactive contaminants in the air and protect scientists who were developing the first nuclear weapons. Today, HEPA is considered the safest and most efficient method to treat airborne particles.
